About This Cause
Greystone Manor TRC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that has been providing quality equine programs for children and adults with special needs under the name of Lancaster County Therapeutic Riding, Inc. since 1981. Our clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, anxiety and depression, physical disabilities, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder report that GMTRC's equine-facilitated services provide physical, cognitive, emotional, and social benefits that allow them to overcome some of the challenges associated with their disabilities while simultaneously providing meaningful social interaction for people who are often disenfranchised from community activities due to their disabilities. Our vision is to sustain and grow as a diverse equine assisted activities program of distinction in achieving desired outcomes for their clients and well recognized as an active community partner.
