About This Cause
Bucks County Opportunity Council provides low income people of Bucks County with the resources to thrive. The council does this through five programs: an economic self-sufficiency program which helps individual improve their education and skills to earn living wages; housing services which assist individuals in housing crisis; weatherization which provides free energy audits and work on homes to make them more energy efficient; a food and nutrition program which supplies donated food to over 70 pantries throughout Bucks County and Buck$Back a free tax filing service for individuals and families that make less than $53,000 annually.
