Mission Statement
St. Paul Audubon Society’s mission is two-fold: to keep common birds common, and to protect species that are in decline. That mission is especially important in an era when development regularly destroys bird habitat and climate change threatens the very existence of birds and other species on our planet. We sponsor monthly meetings for our members on topics of interest from bird habitat to impacts of climate change to bird and animal behavior. See our website for more information.
About This Cause
Saint Paul Audubon Society is an all-volunteer organization working to build a community that values and protects birds and the natural environment. Contributions to the Saint Paul Audubon Society help to conserve and restore areas throughout Saint Paul that are important to birds and other wildlife. Your gift will help us to: Provide bird conservation programs to St. Paul public schools, bring speakers to Society meetings to address key environmental issues, publish informative newsletters, protect populations of at-risk bird species through habitat restoration and special projects, provide beginning bird classes to the public, and increase awareness about birds and habitat by providing informational bird hikes in the St. Paul metropolitan area. Protecting birds and the habitats they depend on requires hands on action. Our members are involved in projects that protect the birds you see everyday. Thank you for your interest in Saint Paul Audubon. See our website for dates of meetings, field trips, and other activities in your community.
