Mission Statement
Southeastern Children’s Home and Counseling Center is a non-profit organization that provides care to needy children and families through group home care, foster care, adoption, maternity care, and counseling.
About This Cause
Southeastern Children's Home (SECH) was founded in 1968. SECH is made up of three residential group home for abused/neglected children ages 11-21. SECH is licensed for up to 20 children with one boy's home and two girls homes. SECH has live-in house parents at each group home to provide a family style environment. The campus is over 53 acres that includes an additional home being renovated, the main staff building, a classroom, a pond, a playground, and other recreational activities. Our children attend public local schools. The SECH classroom assists the children after school tutoring and special classes provided at SECH.
