Mission Statement
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is a Christian congregation with an emphasis on sharing the love of Christ through servant leaders. We extend Christ's words to "Love thy neighbor" to provide outreach and service to neighboring communities.
About This Cause
One of Prince of Peace's community service ministries is to support scouting through BSA Troop 618, BSA Troop 5618, and BSA Crew 618. The youth and adult leaders choose to join the active scouting programs. Adult leaders comply with BSA youth protection procedures and must pass background checks by the BSA and the congregation. Participation is open to all youth and adults who acknowledge a belief in God and want to join the BSA program we sponsor.
