About This Cause
LCYDC is a nationally accredited (Council on Accreditation) and State of Alabama licensed 501 c3 private not-for-profit facility which has operated for more than fifty years. A full continuum of care featuring community-based foster homes, mentoring and day school services along with residential care which includes group homes, residential treatment and juvenile detention care. We are a proud United Way agency with an unwavering commitment to partnering with those who need us to make meaningful impact. We serve clients from all 67 Alabama counties.
