HCMA is a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization founded in 1939. We recruit, train, certify, and encourage Christian chaplains serving in healthcare facilities and hospice programs worldwide. An HCMA Chaplain is a vital healthcare team member, providing spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff during times of illness, suffering, or end-of-life transitions, ensuring holistic care for all.
