Mission Statement
Life’s WORC’s mission is to provide services that facilitate an independent and productive life experience for individuals with developmental disabilities, including intellectual disabilities and autism.
About This Cause
Life's WORC is a private not-for-profit agency that provides comprehensive support to people with special needs including intellectual challenges, developmental disabilities and autism. We maintain over 40 homes and 12 non-residential programs throughout Long Island, Queens and Manhattan. In addition to being known for providing excellent programs and services to a special needs population, Life's WORC is also known for its efficiency. In fact, as documented in our most recent audited financial report, 91 percent of the funds received by Life's WORC are spent directly on the people we support.
