Mission Statement
Colonial Youth and Family Services has a broad legislative mandate to promote the physical, emotional and social well being of youth under 21 and their family members. Its mission is to promote, establish and maintain a unified system of youth development and delinquency prevention services which assist youth to become productive, functional and fully integrated members of society. Through a coordinated, community-school development approach to the provision of direct and indirect youth services as well as youth advocacy efforts, Colonial Youth and Family Services seeks to ensure that appropriate services are made available to the greatest possible number of youth.
About This Cause
Colonial’s Services Provided Child Care Services: Daycare Program (6 Weeks – 4 years), School Age Child Care, Before and After School K-6, Universal Pre-K, Vacation Program, Parent/Teacher Conference Day, Summer Day Camp Clinical Services: Provides Individual, Couples and Family Counseling, Support Groups and Workshops. Evening hours by appointment. Adolescent Services: CCVC – Colonial’s Community Volunteer Corps open to students in grades 6 – 12 who would like to make their community a better place and be involved in community projects. Family Services: Emergency Food, Holiday Assistance (Thanksgiving/Christmas), Project Warmth (heating/electric), Camp Opportunities (Kiwanis/Vacamas), Referrals
