Mission Statement
Carpenter Nature Center's mission is to foster appreciation and inspire stewardship of the natural world by acquiring and preserving land and wildlife habitat, providing quality environmental education, conservation practices and outdoor experiences for visitors of all ages and capabilities.
About This Cause
Carpenter Nature Center is open 361 days and admission is free to visit the visitor center, meet live raptors and animals and hike the trails. We provides fun, active, outdoor nature-based programs for both school children and adults. Carpenter Nature Center restores and protects 725 acres of wildlife habitat in the St. Croix Valley.
