Mission Statement
The mission of Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP), founded in 1972, is to shelter, rescue and place homeless animals into new, forever homes; to relieve animal suffering by preventing cruelty; to provide humane education to develop an aware and responsive community; to advocate respect and compassion for animal life by speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves.
About This Cause
Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP) is an animal shelter and adoption facility. Our programs & services include: sheltering homeless animals and placing them into new, forever homes; lost & found program which helps reunite lost pets with their owners; humane education/community outreach; kid's programs; feral cat Trap/Neuter/Return program; foster care and volunteer programs; low-cost public wellness & spay/neuter clinic.
