Mission Statement
The purpose of Washington Council of the Blind shall be to promote opportunity, equality, and independence for legally blind people in the state of Washington and throughout the nation.
About This Cause
Washington Council of the Blind (WCB) is an all-volunteer membership organization dedicated to promoting opportunity, equality, and independence in the blind community. We do this through education, public awareness, and advocacy. Our chapter affiliates and special interest affiliates are a diverse group of people committed to fostering lifestyles that reflect participation, productivity, independence, and dignity. Affiliated with American Council of the Blind (ACB), WCB is the largest organization of blind consumers in the state of Washington.
