Mission Statement
The goal of the Thurston County Food Bank is to eliminate hunger in Thurston County with a strategy of neighbors helping neighbors.
About This Cause
We rely on volunteers and donations to help us provide food to people from our community who are in need. Our goals are: -Ensure people and families have nutritious food to meet their needs. -End causes of hunger and food insecurity by addressing the root causes. -Make the public aware and knowledgeable about the fight against hunger and inadequate food. -Generate the resources to address hunger and food insecurity in Thurston County. -Have a strong, capable and effective core of staff and volunteers. -Be a highly efficient, stable and sustainable Food Bank.
