To strengthen the impact of local 4-H efforts by securing major statewide gifts and grants; cultivating and stewarding donor relationships; and supporting county fundraising efforts.
About This Cause
Since 1971, the California 4-H Foundation has been dedicated to raising private funds to support the University of California 4-H Youth Development Program. A separately incorporated 501(c)(3) organization, it was recognized as a University of California Support Group in 1979. The role of the California 4-H Foundation is to strengthen the impact of local 4-H efforts throughout California by raising funds or providing other support for activities of the 4-H Youth Development Program.
