About This Cause
For over 50 years, the Elmhurst Symphony Association/Orchestra has provided the western suburbs with elegance, charisma and nobility. Our dedication to performing quality symphonic music and a seamless end-to-end experience is enhanced by pre-concert lectures on the featured music. The many concerts presented throughout the year feature prominent soloists and major symphonic works. The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra is comprised of professionals and accomplished community musicians, and is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation. Concert goers are treated to an exceptional cultural experience. The Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra performs its five concert season in the stunning Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church. This state-of-the-art facility has improved amenities that heighten every aspect of our performances, making the Elmhurst Symphony Orchestra experience comparable to those of other premier symphonic organizations. The Elmhurst Symphony Association also brings music to Chicagoland students. In-school interactive demonstrations, competitions & opportunities to perform with the orchestra expand musical horizons & help foster lifelong appreciation for diverse music.
