Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide comprehensive primary and preventive care and social services to medically underserved families and individuals regardless of their ability to pay. We strive to meet the unique health needs of the communities we serve in linguistically and culturally competent ways.
About This Cause
Our focus remains on providing education around developing a healthy eating lifestyle and engaging in physical activity to improve boss mass index and wellness. Dancing continues to be an integral part of the program . The character building component continues to center around self-awareness, self-esteem/self-image and conflict resolution. Using the MyPlate model we explored healthy eating options and the significance of portion control. Personal trainers from Crozer Keystone's Healthplex for strength building continue to partner with us. Families identified as needing support were referred to out Behavioral Health Consultant.
