About This Cause
We focus on the Whole Girl. Girls Inc. empowers girls, 5 to 18, to be self-confident, responsible and well-rounded individuals by delivering research-based, age appropriate, after school/summer education and sports programs. Our programs serve all girls regardless of socio-economic, ethnic or religious background. Girls Inc. girls grow up to be Strong, Smart, and Bold. They learn to value themselves, take risks, and discover and develop their strengths. The combination of long-lasting mentoring relationships, a pro-girl environment, specific programming equips girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, and grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Girls Inc. serves girls who need us the most - girls who wouldn't have the opportunities, experiences, or role models to lead fulfilling and productive lives.
