About This Cause
Ligonier Ministries exists to proclaim, teach, and defend the holiness of God in all its fullness to as many people as possible. To that end, Ligonier’s outreach today is manifold and worldwide. Having been founded by Dr. R.C. Sproul in 1971, Ligonier’s teaching fellowship consists of theologians, pastors, and scholars who teach through Renewing Your Mind broadcasts (est. 1994), RefNet Christian internet radio (est. 2012), the Reformation Study Bible (est. 1995), Tabletalk magazine (est. 1977), books through Ligonier publishing (est. 2006), and hundreds of video teaching series. Initiatives such as our State of Theology survey (est. 2014) enable us to better understand cultural trends and the need for new discipleship resources on specific topics. In addition, Ligonier hosts regional, national, and international conferences and events (est. 1988), offers undergraduate degree programs through Reformation Bible College (est. 2011), provides an online learning community through Ligonier Connect (est. 2011), pursues numerous translation efforts in other countries, and makes available thousands of unique discipleship resources online at Ligonier.org.
