About This Cause
White Oak EMS proudly serves White Oak Borough, South Versailles Township, and Versailles Borough. White Oak Borough covers 6.7 square miles with a population of approximately 8,000 residents. White Oak is a mix of commercial and residential property including a county park, elementary and intermediate school, as well as Penn State Greater Allegheny campus. South Versailles Township covers 1.0 square miles with a population of approximately 500 residents. South Versailles is mostly residential property along the East bank of the Youghiogheny River. Versailles Borough covers 0.5 square miles with a population of approximately 1,500 residents. White Oak EMS also provides mutual aid service to neighboring communities. Along with emergency service, White Oak EMS also participates in the UPMC PARC transportation program and also provides transportation services to The Childrenâs Home of Pittsburgh and Lemieux Family Center. White Oak EMS also serves the region with its Special Response Teams including Search and Rescue, Incident Rehab, Disaster Response, and Tactical EMS.
