About This Cause
Since 1952, Auberle has been dedicated to transforming the lives of children, youth and families in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Auberle is a nationally recognized human services agency with seven sites. The agency serves more than 4,000 at-risk children, youth and families each year in 25 program areas through our workforce development program, the 412 Youth Zone, housing and emergency shelter, Foster Care, placement services, drug and alcohol and mental health programs, education, and in-home intervention. Our programs include preventative and community-based services. We serve over 70% of our clients served in their home, school or community. We are effective. We know this because we benchmark ourselves regionally and nationally against our competitors. We’ve been recognized as Agency of the Year in the United States by the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities. The regional foundation community recognized Auberle with the Wishart Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management. This consistently high-quality service is delivered with a trauma informed focus, reflecting concern for staff and clients.
