Mission Statement
Castaway Critters provides foster care & rescue assistance to community dogs & cats that are homeless, injured, or about to be euthanized. Periodically we operate spay/neuter clinics for cats for low-income households, stray, and feral cats under our Operations Catnip Program
About This Cause
Castaway Critters is a local 501c3 grass roots No-Kill animal rescue. We provide foster care & rescue assistance to community dogs & cats that are homeless, injured, or about to be euthanized. Many of these animals are rescued from high-kill shelters, found abandoned, or in dire circumstances. Often those that come to us are terrified, some have given up hope. They don't know, or have long forgotten what it's like to have basic care, compassion and kindness. We have a unique focus on sick, hurt, and special needs animals. We never turn our backs on the 'hard cases', and in fact open our arms to them. We believe every life is worth saving! Castaway Critters relies solely on the generous donations of our supporters. We do not receive any government assistance or state funding. Castaway Critters' ultimate vision is a future where there are no more homeless pets and all animals are spayed or neutered and humanely cared for by the community.
