Mission Statement
To advance awareness of sudden cardiac arrest, to identify those youth at risk along with their family members, to promote heart healthy lifestyles, and to improve the CPR/AED skills in the community, enhancing the likelihood of survival from sudden cardiac death.
About This Cause
The Daniel E. Rumph II Foundation has plays a significant role in raising awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and improving the CPR/AED skills in the recreation centers of Philadelphia, PA. The Save the Next Bright Star program provides free heart screenings, CPR/AED training to the youth, adolescents as well as adults while granting access to improved heart health care and it also educates the community and youth in CPR and AED use on factors affecting cardiovascular health.
