We strengthen Israel's economic sustainability by upgrading schools and students’ academic performance through emphasizing world-class science and technology education for all students, especially in the social and economic periphery of the country.
About This Cause
Founded in 1949 Israel Sci-Tech Schools is Israel’s leading network of science and technology schools. With 250 middle and high schools, vocational and industrial training centers and technology colleges of practical engineering in 60 municipalities, the Network educates 100,000 students or 1 of 10 of all Israelis. The Network’s student body mirrors the country’s population, with an emphasis on the social and economic periphery and traditionally disadvantaged populations. The Network’s core strategy is the centrality of social values and iSTEAM (innovation, science, technology, engineering, arts and math) education and vocational training to the future economic vitality of Israel.
