Mission Statement
Dechen Rang Dharma Center (DRDC) was founded in San Jose, California in 2005, by Lama Drimed Rinpoche. DRDC is the first Dharma Center in the U.S. aiming at propagating the profound lineage of the Nyingma School based on H.H. Jigme Phuntsok Rinpoche's tradition. In addition to providing regular teachings to the buddhist population in the Bay Area, the principal minister of the temple, Lama Drimed Rinpoche, also directs the operations of DRDC including meditation practices, spiritual counseling, transitional life counseling, and Buddhist ritual services for the deceased. Rinpoche's wish is to benefit the spiritual well-being of all the members of the communities.
