Our Mission The primary mission statement of the Yucai Chinese School is to serve the local communities in excellence teach Chinese language; promote traditional Chinese culture composed with the unique language, character, history, science through collaborative activities and events, support, understand and cooperate among all people in the community. Our Philosophy The philosophy of Yucai Chinese School is “Student Centric”. Whether you want to learn a new language for personal interest or for business and professional needs, or just want to boost your conversational skills before taking a trip, Yucai Chinese School offers the best programs tailored to your needs. Our goal is to help you learn while having fun through lively teaching and relaxing atmosphere. Our Approach Yucai Chinese School programs are age and level appropriate, practical, and relevant. Native speaking teachers combine classroom instruction with challenging activities to engage students. Enrichment on culture, history, and traditions supplement language instruction. The school seeks to create an environment where students enjoy the process of learning. The school is open to everyone. Our student body includes children of both Asian and non-Asian descent. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin. The school offers three programs which are tailored to meet the needs of its families: Weekend Program After-School Program Summer Program – Summer day camp and SAT & ACT training Minnesota Times biweekly Newspaper Our Motivation What makes the most difference while learning a new language? Our History Yucai Chinese School was established In May 2007 with weekend program In 2008, we started summer day camp; and SAT & ACT training program which partnered with The Princeton Review. In 2000, to better serve the community, we added after school program, which runs from Monday to Friday. In 2014, we added “Happy Chinese” classes, which helps the non-Chinese speaking families to learn Chinese. In 2017, Yucai Chinese School was awarded as an “Exemplary Oversea Chinese Education Model School “by the Chinese Government.
About This Cause
Minnesota Yucai Chinese School, is a non – profit, non-political, non – religious educational organization registered in Minnesota. Yucai is one of the rapid growing Chinese School in the Twin Cities area. Yucai Chinese School is not only a Chinese language learning center for kids but also a vivid activity center for Chinese community in the northwest area of Twin Cities. Yucai Chinese School provides Chinese language classes ranging from kindergarten to AP Chinese, and culture training program including folk dancing, singing, stage preforming art, martial arts, Chinese painting etc.
