Mission Statement
The purpose of the Humane Society of Stanislaus County is to provide shelter, medical and adoption services to abandoned, neglected, abused, companion animals and other humane services, as needed within the limits of Stanislaus County.
About This Cause
In the context of these general purposes, the Humane Society of Stanislaus County shall engage in activities such as community outreach, education about animal care and welfare, the importance of spay/neuter, sponsoring of spay/neuter clinics, animal housing, adoption placements, financial assistance to low income residents for veterinary care and pet food, development of a shelter facility, and other similar services and activities.
