Mission Statement
IMPACT Dance Company (IDC) is a contemporary dance company that presents performances & workshops that speak to issues in our everyday lives. These performances blend text, movement & multimedia elements that allow audience members to experience the arts as a meaningful bridge between societal & personal challenges. Through outreach activities, IDC nurtures the well-being of all individuals, particularly women & youth and celebrates the artistic & cultural diversity of the community.
About This Cause
IMPACT Dance Company is a nonprofit arts organization that creates performances that explore meaningful issues. The company was founded in 1995 and has been in continuous operation ever since, bringing the power of the arts to their community. IMPACT also has an integrated arts program that uses movement, visual art and writing to explore one's thoughts and identity and builds ties within the communities where it is presented.
