Mission Statement
We feed, clothe and educate at risk children and children in need
About This Cause
We have Beth's Closet at PACE Center for Girls which contains any and everything a teenage girl needs or might dream of. We have three Hope Chest clothes closets at the Public Defender Offices in Clearwater, New Port Richey and Dade City. These closets are for both boys and girls in the foster system in Pinellas and Pasco Counties. Many of these children are removed from their homes through no fault of their own and often with just the clothes on their backs. We have the Beth Dillinger Scholarship Fund in partnership with the Pinellas Education Foundation and have awarded over 100 two year scholarships to boys and girls who would not bbe able to continue on to higher education after graduation from high school. These scholarships can be to any university, college or vocational/technical institute. The last part of our foundation is Nourish to Flourish. There are over 7,000 chronically hungry children in Pinellas County alone. By chronically hungry that means they go to bed hungry or have insufficient food to sustain them on the weekends. We started out feeding 10 children two years ago and are presently feeding over 700 children every Friday with twelve nourishing food items to take home on the weekends. Each food pack costs four dollars. To feed a child for the entire school year is $150. There are no paid salaries in the Beth Dillinger Foundation. It is run strictly by volunteers.
