Mission Statement
This is a non profit organization dedicated to ensure at-risk-youth are provided mentorships, recreational/after-school activities, and opportunities for civic engagement.
About This Cause
The Friends of Emery is a non-profit organization that was started in 2004 and comprised of 7 board members who are residents of the Emery Heights Community. We have over 15 volunteers who work with the community's youth to provide mentorship programs, recreational activities and etc. The organization also works alongside DC local government officials to address issues related to safety, food supply, and clothing.
