Mission Statement
Our vision is that no person or family within our service area lacks the clothing they need to secure employment, maintain a healthy and hygienic life, and be socially accepted. To that end, One Small Step provides clothing and household linens to people in need, and builds lasting relationships with our clients, characterized by love, trust, and respect.
About This Cause
One Small Step operates three main programs: Clothes Cabin- a clothing bank that provides free clothing, shoes, hygiene supplies, and linens to those in need because of poverty or emergency. Homeless Assistance- provides additional services to unsheltered individuals and families like mailboxes, storage lockers, free laundry, hot showers, and more. Back to Work Program- provides uniform clothing and shoes to individuals who have obtained new employment but cannot afford uniform items required to begin work. Examples include: steel toe work boots, sturdy work boots, non-skid black sole shoes, scrubs, tool belts, safety shirts and more.
