Mission Statement
The mission of C5 Georgia is to inspire high-potential youth from risk-filled environments to pursue personal success, to prepare them for leadership roles in college, work and community, and to motivate them to become role models for others.
About This Cause
Through a five-year, immersive leadership program, C5 Georgia works with teens throughout the Metro-Atlanta area to give them a choice to succeed. Eighty percent of the students we work with are part of Georgia's free or reduced lunch program and over seventy percent of those students will become first generation college scholars. In comparison to the sixty-four percent statewide graduation rates for our population, C5 Georgia graduates have a 100% high school completion rate and a 98% college acceptance rate. Our students spend five consecutive years with us focusing on the three pillars of the program: leadership development and social awareness, college and career readiness, and community action and advocacy. C5 Georgia helps to foster the abilities of tomorrow's leaders.
