Mission Statement
Aloha Independent Living Hawaii (AILH), is a grass roots 501 (c) (3) non profit organization whose mission is to provide independent living services and programs for persons with disabilities in Hawaii.
About This Cause
AILH has been serving the disability community in Hawaii since 2009. This small grassroots organization has provided independent living programs and services to thousands of individuals with disabilities throughout the Hawaiian Islands. From providing independent skills training on things like household chores and budgeting, to advocacy, peer mentorship, and transition support, AILH continues to empower persons with disabilities to make choices that will enhance their independence. Independent Living Specialists meet consumers wherever they are at, carefully analyze their particular situation, and guide them towards an independent living plan that will be realistic, meaningful, and fulfilling.
