Mission Statement
To improve and unify the Marine Park community through educational programs, events and social aid services.To this end the New York Jewish Association, Inc. DBA JCC of Marine Park was founded to organize, empower andassist the Marine Park community. We promote unity among our local communal institutions so we can betteraddress the needs of our neighbors, and to speak with one voice to local elected officials
About This Cause
Our ultimate goal is to provide a wide range of educational, extra- curricular school activities of the arts andgymnastics, to give services to the needy and the underprivileged and in all to improve the lives everyone within ourreach. Additionally, the organization has organized larger concerts with an underlying message of unity and tolerance - such was the intent of our stage production 'Yosef' in March 2018 and the 'Nissim' concert in December 2018,both well attended On the social-economic plain, the organization has moved into creating large exhibitions and seminars that spur enterprise leading to self-sufficiency..More recently we have seen a removal of the majority of the problems caused by the Covid pandemic. As a result we have been able to arrange large seminars dealing with increasing workforce and individual career promotion. In tandem we also run courses in digital expertise and marketing in order to give people additional tools to individuals to rejoin or increase their participation in the local workforce and beyond. Additionally, the organization has completely refurbished the basementof our community center to include a state of the art children and adult library for the community at large and as a meeting place for lectures
