Mission Statement
Gurudwara Sikh Centre of Seattle (G.S.C.S) is one of the main Gurudwaras in the state of Washington. We are a non-profit, non-political charitable organization which promotes the philosophy of unity, equality, humanity. The institute works actively on various humanitarian efforts ranging from, operating year around free community kitchen, medical camps and provide help and relief for the victims of natural disasters.
About This Cause
Gurudwara Sikh Centre of Seattle (G.S.C.S) is one of the main Gurudwaras in the state of Washington. We are a non-profit, non-political charitable organization which promotes the philosophy of unity, equality, humanity and universalism. Mission: To share the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib - Oneness and welfare of all – through education and selfless service. The institute works actively on various humanitarian efforts ranging from, operating year around free community kitchen, medical camps and provide help and relief for the victims of natural disasters. The institute currently works with Volunteers of America Food Bank, Susan G. Komen® cancer foundation and Puget Sound Blood Center. Sikhism: Sikhism is a way of life that focuses on the importance of truthful living and promotes universal brotherhood. The basic principles of Sikhism are, honest living (kirat karni), share with others (waand chhakana) and pray (naam japna) for the well-being of everyone in the world
