About This Cause
B'Tselem USA takes the work of B'Tselem as its point of departure. From Jerusalem, B’Tselem is the leading Israeli organization challenging the occupation by monitoring and documenting human rights violations in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza Strip and exposing the mechanisms that account for the occupation's myriad injurious policies. Founded in 1989, B’Tselem strives to end Israel's occupation, as that is the only way forward to a future in which human rights, democracy, liberty and equality are ensured to all people, both Palestinian and Israeli, living between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
