Water Charity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that does water, sanitation, public health, and environmental projects around the world.
About This Cause
Water Charity has implemented over 13,000 water and sanitation projects in 88 countries in the past 18 years. Our projects are high-impact and cost-effective. They use the appropriate sustainable technology, are started at once, and are completed very quickly. In partnership with the National Peace Corps Association, and other international agencies, we work to make water access universal and eliminate the scourge of waterborne diseases. Lack of clean water is the number one cause of death for children under 5. With a modern, GIS data-driven approach, we are able to be among the most efficient and effective charities and to implement border-to-border strategies that leave no one behind. We are all about water and stay out of controversial matters like politics, religion, or ethnic tensions. Water is life.
