Mission Statement

Our mission is to present chamber music of all styles and eras, in a casual and engaging environment, in order to provide education about, plus promote appreciation and support for, live classical music performances.

About This Cause

Unlike other performance groups in the area, Timeless Concerts perform in museums/galleries/ballrooms, not auditoriums. We perform piano trios (piano/violin/cello) by Romantic, Impressionist or 20th Century composers, plus accompany opera singers on songs/arias of that composer/era. For comfort of audience, provide table seating/beverages. Audience enjoys comments about composers, vocalists offer translations/stories about arias. The venue is small enough (as it should be for chamber music) for all audience members to be close to the performers. Timeless is big encourager of children. We play free demonstrations for students in 5th/6th grades, mostly Title 1 schools, encouraging them to remain in music throughout education. We strive to build our future musicians, audience and supporters of the arts! All youth under 18 attend Timeless Concerts free, another fact that makes Timeless special. The post-concert party is a gift to our audience, time when the performing artists and audience mingle, forming real relationships with them, from the students being able to ask questions and take photos with the musicians, (hoping to raise up a new generation of arts audience and supporters) to the adult arts lovers. This is also a good time to meet potential sponsors/board members. We see different races and ages attend our concerts, and want to encourage everyone to feel welcome. (Our title 1 school students are primarily Hispanic and African American.) We do not know of any other concert series such as ours, offering chamber music, opera, and fellowship with other music lovers, in Tarrant County or anywhere in the DFW area. We have no specific targeted audience of particular socio-economic status (do have relationship with Title 1 schools where we perform outreach programs), race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or language. Timeless works to address problems of today’s society not being exposed to the valuable performing arts of all times and various countries of the world. OUR PURPOSE is to perform at least 10 concerts per year in an intimate venue and making them affordable; joyful and interesting evenings of music for people of all ages. We have performed music of South and Central American countries (Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos), as well as European and American music (Mozart and Puccini to Mancini and Rogers & Hammerstein); instrumental music as well as vocal works from folksongs to opera arias. We strive to make our concerts more intimate than those in concert halls, speaking directly to our audience about the music, composers, and translating songs. We address the problem of parents not being able to afford to bring their children to professional performances; we offer free tickets for students. We have a lower cost ticket for college students, and senior citizens. audience mingle, forming real relationships with them, from the students being able to ask questions and take photos with the musicians, (hoping to raise up a new generation of arts audience and supporters) to the adult arts lovers.
