Mission Statement
Where art meets the heart - offering free art and music classes to the community of Tecate, Mexico.
About This Cause
We have been offering free art and music classes in our community center for over a decade. Our team is made up of talented local volunteers, who freely share their knowledge and skills in hopes of creating a safe and creative space where inner healing can be encouraged. Our program consists of between 12-24 free classes during any one of our quarters. We have different art classes available for all age groups. In our program students also have the opportunity to learn about how to begin a small business around the creative skills they learn with us, which in turn helps helps a family and the economy. As well, we offer casual coaching and talks to help individuals walk through the healing process of different traumas and losses they may have experienced either recently or in their childhood. We believe that sometimes the only thing keeping someone from triumph or healing is discovering their worth and purpose in this life. Through our program the community can count on finding a support group that can be compared to family. Thank you for choosing our organization to donate to!
