About This Cause

Nevertheless Outreach Ministry, Inc. (NTL) is a non-profit corporation founded in 2009 by Bishop Lynda Brown-Hall, BABS, M.Div. This ministry’s purpose is to assist the people of God in times of adversity and tribulations. Bishop Brown-Hall launched NTL as a church January 28, 2019, to enhance the ministries ability to reach a broader group of people in a greater way. She currently serves as it's founding Pastor. NTL is concerned about and serves in various capacities, that are funded by donations received: 1. Provide services for youth and young adults locally and around the world with a focus on prevention and education, 2. Established relationship with foreign countries, India and Liberia, where we provide school fees, books and food for those who cannot afford to attend school and teachers support. 3. Established and maintained a medical facility in Kenya East Africa from 2009 to 2023, that cared for over 9 million Kenyans with extensive financial support for pastors, widows and orphans, 4. Partner with Big Bang Sports Group to assist young adults with activities that would propel them towards a productive future, with tutoring, mentorship, scholarships, sports activities and individual and family counseling, 5. Work with local government agencies to address the homelessness in the DMV and the multiple needs of those with mental illnesses, 6. Operate a full fledge campaign to address the opioid addiction and street ministry to train and handout Narcan and Fentanyl strips in the local hot spots, 7. We provide extensive pastoral counseling to assist those that are in need of a listening ear and to facilitate solutions to their concerns, 8. Partner with Jackie's Closet and Kitchen, a non-profit that provides food, clothing and furniture for those in need of emergency assistance in Ward 6, 7, & 8, 9. Hold annual community day to educate the community at large on the various government and private services available to help; along with: alcohol and drug prevention teams, mental heath advocates, food give away, HIV testing, health providers, and other service providers, 10. Hold monthly meetings for those in recovery and with treatment facilities present that can take those who are ready to get clean, 11. Work with and in local DC Public Schools and DC Public Charter Schools in educating the youth on drugs, mental illness, and over all safety, 12. Work with Drug Enforcement Agency, Metropolitan Police Department, and Department of Behavioral Heath with holding annual Drug Take Back Days and Drug Awareness Days, 13. Partner with D.C. Prevention Centers 3, 4 ,5, 6, 7 to assist in the education, physical support and sponsoring activities that will interest the youth and young adults, 14. Support community activities and hearings by attending meetings publicly and privately to discuss overall concerns of the community at large. Above are a few of the ministry's highlights that are carried out in addition to our preaching, teaching, and indigent funeral services. We strive to serve in excellence leaving no one behind.
