Mission Statement
Frankie’s World Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization that improves the lives of children with medical needs and their families. The Foundation provides for the health and well-being of these children by establishing high-quality care centers, advocating for caregivers, and creating innovative programs. We encourage and support each child to achieve his or her individual potential – physically, socially and intellectually.
About This Cause
Frankie’s World Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (C) 3 charitable organization that improves the lives of children age birth to 12 years who are medically-fragile, technology-dependent, or have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. The Foundation operates Frankie’s World Medical Day Care Center, Philadelphia’s day care center for children with special health care needs. It is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center or PPECC, licensed by the State of Pennsylvania. It is centrally located at 1011 Poplar St. in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood, close to 3 major children’s hospitals, and easily accessible by Philadelphia area families. Frankie’s World Medical Day Care Center is staffed by pediatric nurses and special needs educators. The center is a medically-safe place that provides recreation, learning opportunities, and socialization for children with special needs while their parents are away at work or school.
