About This Cause
HOMEpdx is a community of, and for, people living outdoors in Portland, Oregon. We gather, share food and supplies, but most of all walk through life together. As a community we support and challenge each other, whether that’s simply making it to tomorrow or reaching for dreams that are impossible to reach by ourselves. In practice we gather around meals, provide services (showers, clothing, laundry, and more), walk the streets and visit camps, help our outdoor friends navigate agencies and medical services, and visit our people when they are in jail. We are a church without a building - just people. And yes, we are a registered 501(c)3 church.
