Mission Statement

International Bipolar Foundation empowers individuals living with bipolar disorder and their caregivers by providing advocacy, education, support, and awareness—fostering a caring community and stigma-free world where mental health is equitably acknowledged and treated.

About This Cause

IBPF was founded in 2007 by four Mom's whose children were diagnosed with bipolar. Due to the lack of specific resources, they were compelled to do something constructive to help. IBPF provides an online platform of resources and education that is globally accessible. All programs are free of charge and benefit people living with bipolar disorder, their loved ones and professional caregivers. Our programs include webinars featuring clinicians, and people with lived experience, "Healthy Living with Bipolar" book that is shipped directly to home/office, "Mental Health Awareness Patch" available to all boys/girls organizations, blogs and social media community support, HUGS for Kids to comfort children and educate/support parents whose child is hospitalized in crisis, College and Professional educational outreach program, and anti-stigma campaigns.
