About This Cause
The World Possible team came from Cisco Systems, Western Digital, Amazon.com, and Norwest Venture Partners to build tech solutions for educating offline populations. We use artificial intelligence to make downloadable copies of the world's leading educational websites (OER2GO.org). These copies can be hand carried on our plug-and-play, battery-powered server, RACHEL, to any corner of the globe, educating students at an effective cost less than $0.08 / hr. With our VC background, we find promising in-country social entrepreneurs to build a business localizing, teaching, and selling or deploying our RACHEL solution.
