Mission Statement

The SCRAPS Hope Foundation is a non-profit created in 2009 to support SCRAPS by funding additional services and community programs related to owned pets and helping abused and abandoned animals find forever homes.

About This Cause

Nearly 11,000 homeless, abused and abandoned animals come to the Spokane County's SCRAPS animal facility each year. Many of them are in need of medical treatment, rehabilitation and retraining. All of them are in need of food, shelter and a home. The SCRAPS Hope Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization organized in the state of Washington, offers programs to help these homeless animals and to help already owned pets by funding: • Animal Medical Program • Transport Program • Free Dog Training Classes • Behavior classes and literature • Humane Education classes • Food bank and Dog houses for low income families These programs would not be availble except for the generous donations of businesses and individuals who are concerned about animal welfare.
