Mission Statement
To honor America’s senior veterans with a trip to Washington D.C. to visit the nation’s memorials. To help them share their stories. To celebrate and affirm their service and homecoming.
About This Cause
Honor Flight Columbus is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our goal is to honor every willing selfless senior Veterans. We will do so as long as the financial support from the public and the help of Volunteers continues. Our trained Volunteer Guardians, who pay their own way, help to overcome most problems travel would cause most of our senior Veterans. HONOR our nation's senior Veterans with a trip to Washington DC to see the memorials. SHARE their stories for the benefit of future generations. CELEBRATE their homecoming and affirm their allegiance and service to our country. Our senior Veterans, those who served prior to the end of the Vietnam War are provided with a no-cost, day-long escorted trip to DC. This tour of honor is an expression of our gratitude and respect for their service to our country. Our national memorials are tributes to the men and women who sacrificed so much for our freedom, and those many who gave all.
