Mission Statement
Care 2 Communities (C2C) has created a new approach for community healthcare delivery in Haiti: a social enterprise network of clinics that delivers reliable, affordable, high-quality primary care through a public-private partnership. We are treating and preventing illness and proving that low user fees can sustain a clinic’s operations over time. We believe that our model, developed in partnership with the Haitian Ministry of Health, can transform the lives of vulnerable people by providing curative care, promoting good health, and ensuring sustainable access to care.
About This Cause
C2C is a social enterprise organization that operates a network of seven community-based primary care clinics in Northern Haiti, serving approximately 85,000 patients annually – and growing. Having demonstrated health impact and business traction since 2013, C2C is ready to truly scale our delivery model across northern Haiti. In 2018, C2C and the Haitian Ministry of Health formed a public-private partnership (PPP) in which C2C rehabilitates and then actively manages existing public clinics to achieve high service delivery and quality benchmarks. C2C will scale its network by integrating government clinics into its model and improving efficiency and quality of care through supply-chain management, quality assurance protocols, a customized electronic medical records system, infrastructure upgrades, and community outreach.
