Mission Statement
Through our Get Off The Couch™ programming, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is the national nonprofit providing charitable services benefitting the overall well-being of our nation's Veterans and First Responders through Outdoor Adventures (physical activity), Warrior PATHH training (mental wellness) and Continued Service/Disaster Response (volunteerism) programs.
About This Cause
Founded in 2010, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is a non-profit organization that exists to Engage, Assist and Empower our former and current military, law enforcement, fire & rescue, and EMS professionals – society’s protectors, our “Sheep Dogs.” SDIA is made up of Sheep Dogs and volunteers, and empowers Sheep Dogs in need by helping them become better citizens of their communities, and healthier and more productive at work and home. We do this through continued service opportunities and programs like Outdoor Adventures and our Holiday programs, which inspire growth, healing and a renewed sense of purpose for all involved. SDIA’s national office is located in Rogers, Arkansas, and has 18 chapters and teams throughout the US, and more than 3,000 members, volunteers and supporters nationwide.
