Mission Statement
Finding Shelter provides the most loving care for animals who need their help finding a permanent home. We are an organization based on love and respect for animals, supported by an incredible group of volunteers who work together to give these animals a quality life and the best chance for adoption.
About This Cause
Finding Shelter Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, no-kill, volunteer supported animal rescue organization dedicated to the saving, rehabilitation, training and permanent placement of dogs and cats in need. Operating since January 1, 2010, we are inspired by Sprout, our tiny, blind Chihuahua who, even after his passing in 2012, reminds us every day that saving the lives of homeless animals is no small “feet”! Finding Shelter treats each adoption individually, with the understanding that placing a dog into a new home is not like buying a new piece of furniture, they are a new member of your family. What makes us different is the care that we take in finding the right home, with the right family, for the right animal.
