Mission Statement
Doggie Harmony is a non-profit (501c3) rescue group focused on matching right people to right dogs in Atlanta. Available dogs are often found by Good Samaritans, come from 'death row' of animal control, or are with owners who seek to relinquish. Secondary to our dog placement objective, we sponsor spay/neuter, wellness, training and boarding to keep or place dogs in happy homes.
About This Cause
Doggie Harmony is a small grass roots organization that is 100% reliant on volunteers, fosters and donors. Donated funds facilitate our programs to include: 1) Northeast Partner Program - Fully vetting homeless or animal control dogs and transporting to less pet-populated areas to include the northeastern U.S. and Canada. 2) Local Training/Rehab Program - In-home training/boarding, as well as group classes to fix dogs with socialization issues. 3) Rescuer Assistance Program - Vetting and relocation to assist local rescuers who are no longer able to keep up with cost or care of rescued dogs.
