Street Soccer USA's mission is to fight poverty and strengthen communities through soccer.
About This Cause
Street Soccer USA makes access to quality sports a public good in communities where it would otherwise be inaccessible. We build Street Soccer Parks, develop and run High Impact Programs, and create unforgettable Street Soccer Cups across the country and the world. Street Soccer USA does bottom up community level work in 10 cities and growing across the United States and is the official US Partner of the Homeless World Cup and the Street Child World Cup. Street Soccer USA uses evidence based methodology and combined its own experience with youth sports and youth development experts, and doctors to create its own 8-skill curriculum, the delivery of which is tailored to be age appropriate and population specific. By creating safe, inspiring spaces, filling them with trained, caring coaches, curriculum, and additional support, Street Soccer USA enables helps participants improve their social emotional learning skills and healthy living habits, leading to better academic performance, healthier relationships and life choices, success in further education and employment.
